Careers

We are a small, founder-led team building the brand-side of music copyright — and we are hiring

What Working Here Is Like

1

Small Team, Real Ownership

These are among the first hires beyond the founders. You will not inherit a process — you will help build one, and you will see the effect of your work on the business within weeks rather than quarters.

2

Remote, Across Time Zones

We work remotely. Every role needs meaningful overlap with both UK and US Eastern hours, because that is when our customers and our founders are available.

3

We Use AI Properly

AI is in our product and in how we work day to day. We expect you to use these tools well — for research, drafting, and analysis — and to be honest about where they help and where they do not.

Open Roles

Three positions, all remote

Sales & Partnerships Associate

Remote.
Full-time, with significant overlap across both UK business hours and US Eastern Time. The majority of your working day should align with US hours to support customer meetings and founder availability.

This is not a sales assistant or executive assistant role. You will become a commercial partner to the founders, helping manage the customer journey from first qualification through to a closed deal. As inbound and outbound meeting volume grows, you will sit alongside the founders in customer meetings, own post-meeting follow-up, keep the CRM honest, and make sure opportunities keep moving without needing to be chased.

What you will do

  • Support the founders across the full sales cycle, and coordinate prospect meetings, demos, and discovery calls.
  • Own follow-up after every meeting, and proactively drive next steps on opportunities that have stalled.
  • Keep CRM records, meeting notes, and customer communications accurate and current.
  • Coordinate proposals, commercial documentation, contracts, and onboarding handovers.
  • Track pipeline health, identify bottlenecks in the process, and recommend improvements.
  • Use AI tools — Claude in particular — for customer research, meeting preparation, drafting follow-ups, and summarizing calls.

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years in commercial operations, sales coordination, customer success, partnerships, account management or B2B SaaS sales support.
  • Experience working directly alongside founders, executives or senior leadership.
  • Strong CRM discipline — HubSpot preferred — and experience with outbound platforms such as Lemlist, Apollo, Outreach or Salesloft.
  • Comfortable joining customer meetings and commercial presentations, and presenting professionally to senior decision-makers.
  • Outstanding written and spoken English, at native or near-native level.
  • A genuine self-starter. You identify what needs doing before being asked, and you follow through without oversight.
Account Executive

Remote, with significant overlap across UK and US Eastern hours.
Full-time. Compensation discussed at first conversation.

We have grown through founder-led sales. This role is the first step in changing that: you will own deals end to end, from qualified opportunity through to signature. Our buyer is usually a General Counsel or Head of Compliance, sometimes a CMO — which means longer cycles, more stakeholders, and a security and procurement review at the end of most of them. If you enjoy selling something concrete to people who ask hard questions, this will suit you.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle for brand accounts: discovery, demonstration, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Build the business case with legal and compliance stakeholders, and help them make it internally when you are not in the room.
  • Navigate procurement, security review, and vendor onboarding — a routine part of selling to large brands.
  • Work with the founders on pricing and scoping for multi-platform and multi-market audits.
  • Keep an accurate forecast, and be straight about what is real and what is not.
  • Feed what you hear in the market back into positioning and product.

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years closing B2B SaaS or professional services deals, carrying and hitting a quota.
  • Experience selling to legal, compliance or risk buyers, or a clear track record of learning a technical buyer quickly.
  • Comfort with long, multi-stakeholder cycles — you can hold a deal together over months without losing momentum.
  • Strong CRM discipline, HubSpot preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, at native or near-native level.
  • Honesty about pipeline. We would rather hear a deal has gone cold than find out at the end of the quarter.
Content Moderation Analyst

Remote, with overlap across UK business hours.
Full-time. Compensation discussed at first conversation.

A note on the title, because it matters: this is copyright review, not trust and safety. You will not be reviewing graphic or harmful content. You will be reviewing brand social media posts to confirm which pieces of music appear in them and whether their use is licensed — the human judgment layer that sits behind every report we send.

Our detection is automated; our accuracy is not automatic. Someone has to look at the ambiguous cases, and that work decides whether a client's legal team receives something they can act on or something they have to re-check. It is detailed, repetitive, and consequential.

What you will do

  • Review flagged posts and confirm or reject the track our system has identified.
  • Resolve the ambiguous cases — short clips, background, and venue audio, layered or edited tracks, covers, and re-recordings.
  • Distinguish platform-licensed use from unlicensed use, based on account type, platform, and territory.
  • Quality-assure reports before they reach a client, and flag anything you would not want your name on.
  • Feed false positives and misses back to the team so detection improves.
  • Keep to a consistent standard across high volumes of content.

What we are looking for

  • Genuine attention to detail sustained over volume — the tenth hour has to be as accurate as the first.
  • Comfort with structured, repetitive review work, and the discipline to apply the same standard every time.
  • Good working knowledge of how music is used on social platforms. Familiarity with commercial music libraries is a strong advantage.
  • The judgment to escalate rather than guess. We would much rather you flag uncertainty than resolve it optimistically.
  • Strong written English.
  • Prior experience in content review, music licensing, rights administration or QA is welcome but not required.

How to apply. Email hello@copyrightcheck.ai with the role in the subject line, a CV, and a short note on why this particular problem interests you. A covering letter is optional; the short note is not.

We read everything, and we reply either way.

Not the right role, but still interested?

We are growing, and roles open regularly. Send us a note and we will keep you in mind when something fits.
