Sports & Entertainment Copyright Check
Hype clips, athlete promos, and matchday content use music constantly — including audio nobody on your team chose
How We Audit Sports & Entertainment Brands
Audit The Whole Estate
We review your owned channels back to the first upload, alongside athlete and talent content published under campaigns you have funded.
Identify Real Exposure
Venue audio is the exposure most teams miss. Music playing in a stadium or arena is captured in the footage you publish, and that recording is licensed for the venue — not for your social channel.
Deliver A Report
You receive a complete review with links to every high-risk post, the track identified and a recommended action for each. No access to your accounts is required at any stage.
Sports & Entertainment Copyright Questions
Well, we've got answers
The music was playing in the stadium. We didn't add it. Are we still exposed?
That distinction carries less weight than most teams expect. The venue's license covers playback at the venue. Publishing a recording that contains the track is a separate use, and it is the use a rights holder can detect and act on.
Beyond the PA, what other venue audio is in scope?
Walk-out and goal music, warm-up playlists, half-time and interval acts, and crowd audio built on a recognizable song are all captured when you publish the footage. None of it was chosen by whoever cut the clip, and none of it is covered by the venue's own arrangements once it is on your channel.
Our athletes post their own content. Is that in scope?
Where you brief, fund or amplify that content it can be treated as brand marketing. We audit campaign content alongside your owned channels so the picture is complete rather than convenient.
We hold a sync license for our broadcast package. Doesn't that cover us?
Broadcast and social are usually licensed separately, and social rights are often narrower or excluded outright. A broadcast license rarely extends to a clip posted on your own channel.
How quickly can we see where we stand?
We audit public content only, so there is nothing to install and no access to grant. We see exactly what a rights holder's enforcement team sees, which is the surface that matters.
