Facebook Music Copyright Check
A full audit of your brand's Facebook Page for unlicensed music — image posts, carousels, Reels, and everything published before native music existed
How We Audit Your Facebook Page
Audit Every Post
We check image posts, carousels, video posts, and Reels across your Page, including regional and sub-brand Pages and the campaign content creators published for you.
Identify Real Exposure
Facebook Pages have long histories. Posts published before native music arrived could not have used an in-app library, which changes how their audio must be read.
Deliver A Report
You receive a complete profile review with links to every high-risk post, the track identified and a recommended action for each.
Facebook Copyright Questions
Well, we've got answers
Our Page has posts going back years. Are the old ones a risk?
They can be the highest risk on the account. Native in-app music arrived on Facebook at a specific point; anything published before it must have sourced audio elsewhere, so those posts warrant closer reading rather than less.
Do you audit image and carousel posts, or only video?
All of them — image posts, carousels, video posts, and Reels. A still image or a carousel can carry a track just as a Reel can, and those are the formats most often missed, because an audit that starts with video tends to stop there. We cover every format on the Page rather than sampling one and inferring the rest.
Does Meta's licensing cover our Facebook Page the same as Instagram?
Meta licenses the two together, which helps, but business accounts still reach a narrower catalog than personal ones. The pairing does not extend to TikTok, YouTube or anywhere else.
Nobody has complained in years. Doesn't that mean we are fine?
Silence is not clearance. Enforcement tends to arrive as a batch demand covering years of content at once — the absence of a claim so far says little about the exposure sitting in the archive.
Do you need admin access to our Page?
No. We audit public content only — no logins, no OAuth grants, nothing installed. We see what a rights holder's enforcement team sees.
Do you offer ongoing Facebook monitoring, or is this a one-off audit?
Both. The audit covers your Page history; monitoring re-checks it on a weekly or monthly cycle. Facebook is worth monitoring alongside Instagram rather than separately, because most brands cross-post between the two and Meta's Sound Collection licenses the pair together — a change that affects one Page usually affects the other.
