For Law Firms
Two ways we work with firms advising consumer brands: refer a client, or commission the factual record for a matter you are already running
We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice — we provide the factual record your lawyers act on. We do not advise your client, and we do not compete for the advisory work.
Refer A Client
You Keep The Relationship. We Do The Enumeration.
When a brand client needs to know what is actually sitting on their social estate, we run the audit and report to whoever you tell us to. We do not advise on liability, we do not draft, and we do not pitch adjacent work. You get a scoped, evidenced picture before you quote — rather than a client estimating the size of a problem nobody has counted yet.
What your client gets:
- A full historical scan of the profiles they own
- An itemized record, not a score
- A risk tier and a recommended action on every finding
- No account access at any point
Commission An Evidence Pack
Engaged By Your Firm. Delivered To Your Firm.
For a matter you are already running, we can be instructed directly. The deliverable is the same factual record, scoped to what you need and addressed to you. Where a license position is genuinely ambiguous, we mark it for review rather than assert it — so the pack distinguishes what we know from what still needs checking.
Every item carries:
- The post URL
- A capture screenshot
- The track identified
- The rights holder, where known
- Publication and capture dates
- A risk tier and recommended action
How The Record Is Built
Scope And Enumerate
We work from the public surface only. We hold no passwords, tokens or API keys — nothing is installed, connected or granted, which also removes most of a client's IT review before it starts.
Identify And Human-Review
Every machine flag is reviewed by a senior analyst before it reaches the report, because a finding you cannot defend is worse than no finding at all.
Deliver The Record
You receive an itemized schedule, not a score. Every entry carries its URL, capture, identification detail, and date, so each one can be checked independently of us.
Common Questions
Asked by the firms we work with
Do you give legal advice?
No. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice — we provide the factual record your lawyers act on. We do not opine on liability, we do not draft, and we do not advise your client on their position.
Who instructs you, and who receives the work?
Either arrangement works, and we are explicit about which is in place. On a referral, the brand instructs us directly and we report to them, copying you if they ask us to. On an evidence pack, your firm instructs us and the work is delivered to your firm.
We do not switch between the two mid-engagement, and we do not approach a client you introduced with anything other than the work you introduced us for.
Do you need access to the client's accounts?
No. We hold no passwords, tokens or API keys — ever, and by design rather than by policy. Nothing is installed, connected or granted, so there is nothing to deprovision when we are done and offboarding is instant.
We see exactly what a rights holder's enforcement team sees: public content, and no more than that. In practice this is what lets an audit start without a security review.
How do you handle an ambiguous license position?
We mark it for review rather than assert it. The report distinguishes what we know from what still needs checking, so you are never asked to rely on a conclusion we cannot evidence.
Why does the count matter commercially?
Because exposure scales with the number of works, not the number of posts — and enumerating the works is the part we do.
US statutory damages run to a maximum of $150,000 per work where infringement is found to be willful (17 U.S.C. §504(c)(2)). That is a ceiling and not a forecast: settlements are typically a fraction of it, and most matters never reach a filing. It is the arithmetic that makes an uncounted estate difficult to advise on.
What are your professional indemnity and cyber limits?
Available on request, along with our certificates. We would rather send you the current documents than publish a figure that dates.
Can we see the work before we introduce anyone?
Yes. Our case studies show the shape of a completed audit, redacted where NDAs require it. Almost all of our clients are under NDA, so what you will not find anywhere on this site is a client's name we have not been given permission to use.
